The name of the dinnerware might make you think otherwise, but you can be awed by “depression glass” – which is also known as “American Sweetheart. The dinnerware is very special, but there are some colors and engravings and/or patterns that make more money, because of its popularity, than the others.
The most valuable one are the depression glasses that are ruby red or cobalt blue – with the American Sweetheart pattern. Those versions can get you up to $75 a piece. The whole set – which is a eight-piece tea set – can be sold for approximately $450.
