Game Boys – up to $4000
You may remember that children were always whining about their parents’ gameboys. Perhaps it’s just as well that you were once given or bought a Game Boy! The Game Boy was first released in 1989 and quickly became the must-have toy of the time.
But its influence did not stop there. Since we can no longer just go to a game shop and buy one of these portable game consoles, the resale market has driven the price up significantly and they now go from $750 to $2000 over the counter. A brand new Game Boy Work sold for over $4000 on a second-hand marketplace on 18 August 2019.
