No.15: Spider-Man – 454,100
The Amazing Adult Fantasy series, a collection brought to life by Stan Lee and released by Marvel Comics, featured issue No. 15 as the Spider-Man story, introduced in 1962 with artwork by Steve Ditko.
This issue, one of the final ones in the series that began in the 60s under the name Amazing Fantasy, in mint condition, fetched $454,100 at a Heritage Auctions event in 2016, marking a significant gamble as it was the first of its kind to be auctioned.
