You might not expect it, but in August 2019, a SharpGF-999 Stereo Boombox sold on a second-hand marketplace for $3000, while a VTG 2 Lasonic TRC-975 Ghetto Blaster Boombox from 1988 went for $8250. So, for those who still have an old boombox stashed away somewhere, it might be worth putting it up for sale.
