27. Clean & Polish Chrome Car Parts
Are the once-gleaming chrome parts of your car now dulled, dirty, or marred by rust? I have a solution that will restore their lustrous shine. First, wash the dull or rusty chrome part with a soft cloth, rinse and pat dry.
Spray WD-40 onto the rusty areas of the chrome, allowing it to sit for approximately 10 minutes. After this, go over the rusted and or dull spots with a light abrasive. Once you’ve tackled the rust, apply another layer of WD-40 to the chrome surface, creating a protective barrier against future rusting.
