38. Lubricate Guitar Strings
After playing your guitar, there’s a neat trick to keep your strings in prime condition. Use WD-40, but spray it on a cloth first, then wipe the strings. This method cleans, lubricates, and prevents corrosion without risking any build-up on the guitar’s body or neck.
Though it might appear WD-40 is the answer for everything, it’s good to know its limits. Yet, for maintaining your guitar strings, it’s surprisingly effective.
